Starbucks® Coffee Community Terms of Use

BINDING TERMS

Use of this Starbucks site ("Starbucks® Coffee Community") is subject to these terms of use ("Terms") as such may be changed from time to time to by Starbucks Coffee Asia Pacific Limited (“Starbucks”). The Starbucks® Coffee Community is only available to employees of Starbucks and/or its subsidiaries, affiliates and/or licensed market operators.

OWNERSHIP

Unless otherwise noted, all information, data or other materials on the Starbucks® Coffee Community are protected by confidentiality, copyright, trade dress, trademarks and/or other intellectual property rights owned by Starbucks, its subsidiaries and affiliates or other third party licensors and may not be reproduced, modified or reused except in connection with Starbucks internal business purposes or with the permission of the applicable rights owner.

ACCEPTABLE USE

All uses of the Starbucks® Coffee Community must be consistent with Starbucks business purposes, support the goals, Our Starbucks Mission and guiding principles of Starbucks and in a manner that is consistent with applicable Starbucks policies and standards, including, without limitation, the Acceptable Use Standard and Social Media Standard.

In using the Starbucks® Coffee Community, you additionally agree to the following:

  • You understand that you are representing Starbucks and need to maintain behavior appropriate for Starbucks in any actions you make
  • You agree that you are and shall remain solely responsible for the contents of any submissions you make. You will, therefore, not (a) post or display content that is inappropriate, offensive discriminatory, harassing, threatening, defamatory, abusive, obscene, or unlawful or which infringes or misappropriates copyright, trademark, privacy or other personal or proprietary right of a third party; or (b) for purposes unrelated to Starbucks including for commercial or personal financial gain, for political or religious purposes or for activities on behalf of any organization having no affiliation with Starbucks.
  • You agree that all content you upload to the Starbucks® Coffee Community shall be assigned to Starbucks, and you expressly disclaim all rights to all values and benefits Starbucks and/or its affiliates, subsidiaries and licensed market operators may gain through the use of such content both internally & externally.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF USERS

In addition to (and without limiting) any obligation imposed on users of Starbucks networks, assets or systems, each user of the Starbucks® Coffee Community remain solely responsible for the contents of any materials, data, information or statement posted or uploaded to the Starbucks® Coffee Community, and any use of the Starbucks® Coffee Community in derogation of these Terms and related Starbucks policies and standards, including the Acceptable Use Standard and Social Media Standard, may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

MODIFICATIONS TO THE SITE

Starbucks reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Sites or any features or portions thereof without prior notice. You agree that Starbucks will not be liable for any modification, suspension or discontinuance of the Sites or any part thereof.
